Data source on the average price of a dozen eggs - Cepea

To obtain more information to meet the population's demand, the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea) produces spreadsheets with data collected weekly related to the average price of a dozen eggs in Greater Belo Horizonte (MG), Greater São Paulo (SP) and Rio de Janeiro (RJ).

In this context, the Digital Skills for Family Farming (CoDAF) project makes available on its portal a description of the data source on the average price of a dozen eggs produced by Cepea. Through this source, it is possible to see that prices do not fluctuate sharply; in addition, the values compared across regions follow the same pattern, that is, despite different places and times, the price of a dozen eggs tends to follow the same rhythm.
