Data on the CEPEA egg indicator – Delivered Product

The Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea) is part of the Department of Economics, Administration and Sociology of the “Luiz de Queiroz” College of Agriculture (Esalq), a unit of the University of São Paulo (USP), located in Piracicaba. It is a research group registered with the CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development).

Cepea naturally places emphasis on topics related to the rural environment, but without excluding other economic sectors with direct or indirect links to agribusiness. Its activities consist of developing applied research, carrying out original work with economic-administrative content, and broadly disseminating the results it obtains. By involving dozens of undergraduate and graduate students, it also plays the role of contributing to the training of these professionals.

Cepea was officially created in 1982 as a way for the Department of Economics, Administration and Rural Sociology of Esalq/USP to establish more efficient channels for receiving society's demands and meeting them through an organized system of service provision to public and private entities.
