Introduction

Sítio Boa Esperança is a family property located on the road toward Juliânia, Afonso Treze neighborhood, in the city of Tupã, State of São Paulo (Brazil), with 10 alqueires of land in cassava production, distributed and sold to cassava flour mills in the Alta Paulista region.

Highlight

The producer, together with her husband and children, decided to invest in growing rubber trees, planting about 200 seedlings, which are approximately 1.5 meters tall, and on some of the growing tips small amounts of resin can already be detected.

Differentiator

The cassava is harvested through a semi-mechanized process that combines manual labor and the farm's own equipment, speeding up production and avoiding excessive physical contact of the product with other sources, after which it is placed in bags suited to harvest mechanization, which makes distribution logistics to buyers easier.

Information

The farmer has land leased to third parties, in the municipality of Martinópolis, where cassava is also grown with stable productivity.
