Introduction
A family property located in the municipality of Platina, State of São Paulo (Brazil), Sítio Bela Vista has an area that alternates between areas for growing crops and for raising dairy cattle.
Highlight
The farmer rotates the crops on his property among cassava, soybeans and corn. As a result, the availability of products differs at certain times of the year, depending on the crop being harvested.
Differentiator
The producer's dairy cattle are raised loose on pasture, extensively, which allows for less stress on the animal and, consequently, better-quality milk for consumers.
Information
The producer passes his daily milk on to another producer of dairy products. On average, 100 liters/day are collected.
Producer's Account
This is the account of the producer Milton de Oliveira Lopes of Platina/SP, in which he comments on the help that technology brings to the rural environment.
