This week RECoDAF began to be evaluated in the Qualis system of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), rated B5 in the area of Information Science.
The Qualis evaluation is a set of procedures used by Capes to stratify the quality of the intellectual output of Brazilian graduate programs.
The inclusion of ReCoDAF in this select group of journals evaluated by Capes is seen as a great achievement of the Digital Skills for Family Farming project and a great contribution to sharing and promoting the knowledge produced by the research carried out.
According to the editors, professors Fernando de Assis Rodrigues and Diana Vilas Boas Souto Aleixo, the achievement is the result of collaboration among the internal team, collaborators, reviewers and authors, and over the next 2 years the RECoDAF team will strive not only to keep this prominent position on the Brazilian scene, but also to expand its presence in international databases and in North American and European indexes.
