Due to irregularities investigated by the Federal Police that forced the reformulation of the rules of the Food Acquisition Program (PAA), operated by the National Supply Company (Conab) in Paraná, since January 1, the Municipal Social Assistance Funds have begun coordinating the receipt and distribution of agricultural products and the issuing of receipt statements.
According to the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), the program has been paralyzed since September of last year and even caused losses for farmers and losses for the beneficiary institutions.
