Embrapa will hold mini-courses during Agrishow, which is taking place this week. One of them is on the application of agricultural pesticides; the technique presented allows the product to reach the plants correctly, in the proper amount. Software provides the data needed to calibrate the sprayer, allowing the application to be optimized, which will save product and reduce environmental impacts.
An electrostatic sprayer cheaper than imported ones will be presented at the fair; with this equipment, an efficiency of 58% was observed. Embrapa is also presenting various crops from the Crop-Livestock-Forestry Integration (ILPF) system. The fair takes place from April 27 to May 1 in Ribeirão Preto/SP.
