Data Source Lists National Coffee Prices

Undeniably, coffee is a grain of significant importance to Brazil, to the point of having become cultural, impacting the country's economy. With this in mind, continuous monitoring of its price is relevant.

Thus, the Data Source titled “Coffee Price”, made available by CONAB (National Supply Company), seeks to gather coffee prices, at the national level, for analysis.

The Data Source gathers information such as the Product/Unit, the marketing level of the grain, the State it belongs to, and the date, made up of every day and month of the period covered. With this data, charts can be generated in order to visualize the data more dynamically, making it possible to compare the price variable by state and region across different purchase modes, and the price of the product in question in the São Paulo region.

Understanding the importance of access to data, the Portal of the Digital Skills for Family Farming (CoDAF) project makes available to small farmers and other interested parties data sources on topics that can help the performance of agricultural activity, available at: http://codaf.tupa.unesp.br/agricultura-familiar/fontes-de-dados.
