Recently, Brazil's postal service (Correios) published on its website a commemorative stamp about the “International Year of Family Farming,” designated by the UN as 2014. In a first for the country, the chosen theme honors small farmers, who are of great importance in the national economic landscape, contributing to the domestic supply and the development of thousands of families, generating income in the countryside and bringing good-quality food to the tables of millions of Brazilians. The CoDAF Project receives authorization to use the commemorative stamp on its portal.
