Fábio M. Moreira, a member of the CoDAF Project and a doctoral student in the Graduate Program in Information Science (UNESP/Marília), launches the book "Recuperação de Dados de Programas Governamentais: Um estudo do PRONAF" (Data Retrieval from Government Programs: A Study of PRONAF), published by Novas Edições Acadêmicas. In it, issues related to the process of retrieving data on the operationalization of the National Program for Strengthening Family Farming (PRONAF) through official websites of public financial institutions are addressed, highlighting the importance of making information on public policies available and pointing out family farmers' need to obtain this data.
According to the author, participation in CoDAF contributed significantly to the preparation of the book's content, since the activities carried out in the Project provided a broad perspective on the issues surrounding digital skills for the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in making data available and accessible within Family Farming. The book can be purchased through the publisher's online catalog (https://www.nea-edicoes.com/catalog/index), and its electronic version can also be accessed free of charge (http://bit.ly/1O02swq).
