On November 17, 2016, at the FCA School of Agronomic Sciences - Unesp Botucatu campus (SP), a training session on the ARAquá software will be held.
The ARAquá software was designed to help with environmental risk assessments of pesticides, checking for possible contamination of surface and groundwater bodies by comparing their estimated levels in areas of agricultural use.
This technology emerged within an Embrapa project, in collaboration with FCA - Unesp and Fatec Botucatu.
The training will present its technical and scientific foundations and practical examples of applications. A lecture will also be given on the use of mathematical models in the environmental risk assessment (ARA) of pesticides.
