3.2 Data on passion fruit production area
This data source is made available on the website of Revista Campo e Negócio and contains data on the production area of fruits and vegetables from 1979 to 2014.
Information about the origin of the data
Upon entering the home page of the Revista Campo & Negócio website, a search tab is provided in the upper corner of the screen where you can search for the available crops. For this research, passion fruit cultivation was used as an example.

Information about the datasets
The dataset contains a historical series from 1979 to 2014, together with the area and production of the crop. It is made available in HyperText Markup Language (HTML) format, structured in a table with three columns.
• YEAR: shows the years from 1979 to 2014 for which the research was done
• AREA(HA): shows the area in hectares of the passion fruit plantation
• PRODUCTION: shows the passion fruit production in tons
